A Prolific writer, Braddon produced more than 80 novels, particularly of supernatural and horror fiction. This little known collection contains ten new tales including the title story Under the Red Flag. CONDITION In a quarter morocco binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and wear to extremities. Front joint cracked with hinge held by one cord only. Board likely to detach in transit. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright, with some light scattered spotting. Ink inscription dated 1887 to contents page. This now sits alongside a companion volume, another work of Worcestershire historian and antiquarian, John Noak. I very much looking forward to reading it.
