1st edition "My First Summer in the Sierra," by John Muir is as pictured & described! Came with bonus 1909 "Stickeen" advert! Book was bubble wrapped, placed in a plastic bag, bubble wrapped again, then swaddled in more bubble wrap! Fort Knox in a Box! Arrived quickly & safely. The book is gorgeous, and I believe unread since some of the deckled pages still retain their uncut folds! The tissue inserts are flawless! Thrilled to add to my growing John Muir collection! !!Seller Highly Recommended!!

The price on this edition was more than fair, considering the book appears brand new. Some "flaws," such as they were, were noted in the ad, but they were hardly noticeable. I'm not sure I would have ever picked them out. So, it's nice to deal with a seller who makes note of everything, the way that Bill does. All in all, an excellent quality, FINE copy that was shipped quickly and packaged well. I WILL be purchasing more books from Bill in the future.
