This is full genuine leather bound in new condition, never opened. I personally removed the original publisher's plastic foil wrap, as it was a little matte and photos looked unpleasant. Please look carefully where the covers meet the spine and you will not see the usual fold that forms when you open the book for the first time. The covers and pages will creak upon opening for the first time, the paper edge golden gilding will still be stuck together. Photos show no sagging of the page block, which means it was never displayed and the top has not separated from the spine .
