Moreover, he was the first scientist that demonstrated cancer could be caused by environmental factors (carcinogens). Published in the mid-eighteenth century originally, these works cover much, from head injuries to treatment of fractures. Please ask any questions you may have before purchasing this book. There is some wear and some damage on the edging of the book. The pictures should represent this damage. Please keep in mind that we are not professional graders, but we explain all issues we see in our books. Cover : There is some light and small scuffing on the top left of the front cover. Page Edging : There is some small scratching on the top and a little on the right. There is some visible damage to the bottom right side and the bottom side of the side edging. Please see the pictures. It is a little more difficult to see the spotting in the pictures but please be conscious. Head/Tailcaps : The top headcap is a little loose. End Sheets/Inside Covers : The endsheets have no noticeable wear or damage. Textblock : The textblock is in good condition with no noticeable wear or damage. The pages on the bottom corner show some damage where the edging has been dented. Other : There is a book plate affixed opposite the title page with the previous owners name on it and also gives the edition number.
