The paper edges are untrimmed and add to the aged aesthetic of the book once the new owner executes their plan for this fabulous project base. We could easily see a skilled artist or calligrapher filling a book like this with fine writing, poetry, mounted photography or illustrations and then perhaps custom painting the leather cover & custom sized box in whatever theme matches the purpose of the book/ project. Instead of shipping, a door delivery made more sense and I was very lucky! Packaging wasn’t required. The value was immense. The book was as described and better. This is an incredible antique book that has made my whole month ✨ until the next purchase, thanks for everything Mike
