Gorgeous leather bound 3 piece set from the Franklin Library Limited Edition Collected Stories of the Worlds greatest Writers. Gustave Flaubert Three Tales 1981 Honore de Balzac Droll Stories 1978 Ivan Turgenev First Love and Other Tales 1978 All Leather Bound, Accented in 22kt gold. Printed on archival paper with gilded edges. The endsheets are of moire fabric with a silk ribbon page marker. Smyth sewing and concealed muslin joints. These books are in burgundy, red, and black full leather with gold Filagree detail and hubbed spines. These UNREAD leather limited edition books from The Franklin Mint are in practically new condition. The only sign of age is some fading of the edges of the moire silk interior end pages. Otherwise they are pristine. This set will make a fine addition to any collector's library of antique and collectible books.
