It has been a rough journey the past three years with them discriminating against LGBTQ items. I think it’s very important that these books are seen and made available to represent cultural history. As we all know as collectors of these rare paperback novels, eBay has started restricting the sales of them starting August of 2022. Many of us have had our accounts restricted for unreasonable reasons as a result. I have been a collector of these books myself for over 30 years and love, getting rare and unusual copies to the people who love them and collect them. I have an adjacent account and I have had to stop selling the majority of my books on that account because it has hurt me financially. I have created this account specifically for these types of books and I am trying to abide by eBay rules as much as possible to continue offering. What is allowable from what I have. It is my hope that eventually I will create an independent website to sell the items that eBay will no longer allow as a means for the community to find collectibles that they like and I will donate a percentage back to LGBTQ causes. Until that happens? Here I am. I sell two collectors. I am not a flea market or yard sale. Please do not treat me like one. I list the books based on condition, rarity, and how much I personally have invested in the book. DO NOT SEND ME OFFERS. READ THAT AGAIN. Guys, if I wanted to be a flea market, I would be set up with a table somewhere. I asked for the respect and understanding that that is not how I do business. I do not need to know how much you think a book should be listed at, or anything else. It’s simple, mutual respect. If I want to price a book for less? I will do that when I’m ready. So the best thing to do is to add any items that you’re interested in to your watchlist and as a price reduction is made you will be notified of that. I am the caregiver to two people and I ask for this consideration in advance and I appreciate people understanding and not filling my message box up with things I’m not open to. If you ran a business? You would run it the way that you thought you should, and the same goes for me. I appreciate you understanding. I literally have thousands of books and I offer them as I list them. Please check back or favorite this selling account as it is a new account and it’s only allowing me to list up to 200 items at a time right now until it grows. My other account has been growing for 15 years but I can no longer sacrifice my income over a restriction that may come out of the blue for no reason. This is what has been going on since August 2022. I’m not here looking to be a bad seller or break rules, I’m here to offer items that I think should be able to be allowed at eBay and get them to the people that I know would like to have them. And I can’t have my other account be impacted ALL BOOKS ARE AND WILL BE IN NICE CONDITION UNLESS NOTED. I DON’T EVEN LIKE TO PURCHASE BOOKS UNLESS THEY ARE NICE BUT EXCEPTIONS HAPPEN. I’ve been doing this for a long time and I do not accept returns and I do not do this “not as described/not as listed”’game some buyers like to play. Your book will be inspected, come in a cello protector, surrounded by a cardboard protector, and if need be, will be insured to full value. Again NO RETURNS.
