Georges Braque (May 1882 – August 1963) was a major 20th-century French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. His most notable contributions were in his alliance with Fauvism from 1905, and the role he played in the development of Cubism. Braque's work between 1908 and 1912 is closely associated with that of his colleague Pablo Picasso. Their respective Cubist works were indistinguishable for many years, yet the quiet nature of Braque was partially eclipsed by the fame and notoriety of Picasso. I am beyond thrilled to have this rare first edition copy of "The Girl Who Ran for President"! I had never heard of Belva Lockwood, neither has anyone else I know. I loved learning about her story and received this book quickly which was a bonus. It was packaged well which I appreciated - the seller put in the extra effort to assure I received the book as described. The price was on point for the item and I'm so happy to add it to my bookcase.

Exceptional service, fairly priced specialty products, flexible with delivery timing. Everything very well packed and delivery on time. Went out of way to accommodate delivery dates given our travel. Great EBay experience. Highly recommended. Excellent communications.

There was a post office error with my order; the seller was on top of it and kept me updated. He was friendly and the book was packed with care and is as-described. I couldn’t be happier.
