A collection of 3 antique Religion themed books, from 1850s-1860s. All books have Marbled Paper-over-board covers, and black Leather spines. All published by Presbyterian Board of Publications. 1) OBEDIENCE or LIFE OF MISSIONS. By Thomas Smythe, DD. This one entered 1858. 2) MEDITATIONS OF A CHRISTIAN MOTHER or Practical Application of Scripture to ....Herself and Children. It appears the page with the publication data and author data IS MISSING. 3) BETHANY THE TOMB OF LAZARUS. This book has at least 2 torn pages (publication data page and back page) and another missing page (71-72). Wrinkled page edges. This one is POOR TO FAIR, with many stains, but still readable. SIZE: Approx 6 1/8" by 4". Pages range from 94- 170. CONDITION: 2 are in Good for age, used condition. Cover edge & corner wear of the paper, showing boards. Leather stress. Tanning. Writing.
