Antique Late 1800s Leather-Bound Photo Album with Ornate Metal Clasp Size of photo album is 7" W x 8 1/2" H x 2 1/2" thick. Brown leather cover embossed with design with gold embellishment in some of the decoration on front cover. Reads "Album" on spine in gold. Photo album holds large cabinet cards size 4x6. 18 pages in album. 2 photos to a page, so holds 36 photos. Photo openings on pages are rectangle format with arched top and some are oval. There are some tears around openings of some of the photo pages. Pages are very thick cardboard with wood grain looking finish and gold ornate border decoration. Page edges are gold. Leather cover is worn, as seen in photos. Binding is still ok. Not super tight, but also not falling apart. Very ornate metal clasp. It is spring loaded to adjust to thickness of album.
