Description
Some scratches/abrasions/rubbing that can be seen in photos. There are some minor tears to the paper in a couple of the volumes (see photos), and extremely minor foxing in some of the volumes, mostly concentrated to the front of the book which can also be seen in photos. A quite uncommon quarter leather bound set of the legislation of WW1 of France. The set looks gorgeous on a shelf having very clean, strong spine labels contrasted with the brown leather. Unique cover boards, nice marbled end papers. The set is complete, covering legislation from July 1914 to October 31st, 1918 (~2 weeks before the end of the war on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. I have found single volumes of this set here and there, but I've struggled to find other complete sets and have not found a set that was bound.
