This is a collection of eight 18th century French plays originally published separately and bound together in this 5"x8.5" hardcover volume. The titles are: 1. Ericie ou la Vestale, Drame; en Trois Actes et en Vers. (anonymous, 1769, "A Londres" with no publisher credited, 38pp) 2. Les Amants Malheureux, ou le Comte de Comminges, Drame (M. D'Arnaud, 1768, troisieme editionm Chez Pierre Gosse junior & Daniel Pinet, a la Haye, [2], 53pp) 3. Zelmire, Tragedie (M. De Belloy, 1770, nouvelle edition, Par la Compagnie des Libraires Associes, Paris, 50pp) 4. Crispin Bel-Esprit, Comedie (M. de la Thuillerie, 1750, Chez Ganeau, Paris, 34pp) 5. Heureusement, Comedie en un Acte et en Vers. (Mr. Rochon de Chabannes, 1762, Chez Sebastien Jorry, Paris, 35pp) 6. L'Ambitieux et l'Indiscrette, Tragi-Comedie (M. Nericault Destouches, 1758, nouvelle edition, Aux depens de la Compagnie des Libraires, Paris, 93pp) 7. Le Dissipateur, ou l'Honnete-Friponne, Comedie (Mr. Nericault Destouches, 1759, nouvelle edition, Chez Prault Pere, Paris, 115pp) 8. Oedipe, Tragedie (Mr. de Voltaire, 1771, Chez Merlin, Paris, 57pp) In acceptable condition with heavy wear to the leather boards, damage at the lower front joint, leather separating at front top, title label lacking. The Amants Malheureux title page is detached. There are marks to the second flyleaf and a flyleaf at the back. The penultimate leaf shows loss at the bottom corner, and a couple pages have bent corners.

Set of nine 1970 dated post cards depicting various soldiers from Duchy of Warsaw. Good condition as described in listing but has some spots and shows minor yellowing due to age. Item was packaged well in protective wrap and bubble wrap and shipped fast. Seller combined shipping, is responsive and very knowledgeable.
